Congratulations to the Casimir Catholic College Marrickville of 2025 on your outstanding Higher School Certificate (HSC) results!

Our school was among the top 150 schools in NSW according to the The Sydney Morning Herald rankings, climbing an incredible 83 places to 145th in the state—the biggest jump across Sydney Catholic Schools. 

We recorded 55 Distinguished Achievers, two All Rounders and one Top Achiever, as Kristian Francis placed fourth in the state for English Standard. 

We had nine courses with all students in the top three bands, with a 12.85% Band 6/E4s conversion rate. 

More than 31 per cent of students achieved an ATAR of more than 85, while together the cohort received 42 nationally recognised VET Certificate II and III qualifications. 

Principal Carmelina Eussen congratulated Year 12 on their fantastic achievements. 

“We’re very proud of our students. Their collaboration, community and hardworking nature were impressive,” she said. 

“We know our students well and we had a clear vision with high expectations.”

SUCCESS ACROSS THE SYSTEM 

Sydney Catholic Schools is celebrating an outstanding year of achievement with the Class of 2025 delivering some of the strongest HSC results in the system’s history.

Nearly 4,500 SCS students completed HSC exams this year, collectively achieving 2,875 Distinguished Achievers listings, 43 Top Achievers, 53 All Rounders. Five schools ranked among the top 100 high schools in NSW in The Sydney Morning Herald HSC rankings, with 17 schools in the top 150.

Sydney Catholic Schools again enjoyed incredible success across the Creative and Performing Arts and Vocational Education and Training (VET), with students receiving a record 321 nominations across HSC Showcases, and 1,989 nationally recognised VET Certificate II and III qualifications.
